Recipe:
Ingredients
1-1/2 oz Apple cider
1-1/2 oz Van Gogh Wild Apple Vodka
1/2 oz Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka
1/2 oz Apple Schnapps
Preparation
Glaze the inside of a chilled martini glass with caramel syrup and place glass in the refrigerator until ready to use. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into chilled glass glazed with caramel syrup. Float a thinly sliced apple round (seeds removed) on top.

Gosh has it really been since new years since I posted? Wow! So far this year has been a very stressful one, but I feel things are moving in the right direction! Work has been very busy which is great considering we didn’t have much of a winter this year. Usually a good chunk of our work during the winter comes from snow storms and we haven’t had much of those this year. But luckily we have been busy with other work! The economy of course doesn’t help any. We are finding more and more customers end up keeping the money from their claims rather then fixing their cars or they want to find out the cheapest way they can get their cars fixed so they can make money! Ugh!
On other notes, we are exciting for camping season 2010! So far we have booked Lake George Escape campground for a 7 week period starting in the middle of May. We would only go up on the weekends but get to leave the camper there the whole time which is nice! Less towing around to do. After that we have trips booked to Cumberland Bay Campground, and up to Lake Placid for a few weekends!! Of course I want to fit in some Sacandaga camping in their to! 
Right now we are talking about what upgrades we want to do on the camper before we head out their! Just some little things here and there to make it nicer. I joined a really neat forum kind of website that is all R-Vision Trail Cruiser campers who chat about what cool places and cool things they have done to their campers! It is super neat to see the upgrades! We had talked about possibly putting our camper on a seasonal site for the season if we found a good one we liked that was reasonably priced but we didn’t end up finding anything we really loved! And we decided we would rather travel around to. Its more fun!
On a sad note, since we will be again doing so much camping, we have decided to sell the bikes!! It is very very upsetting to me because I love my bike so so much but it is the right thing to do. We only rode a handful of times last year and camped almost every single weekend and I think this year will end up being the same way. Its the right move and maybe someday we will get other bikes but for now I know we wouldn’t be riding them for a few years, especially considering that we want to have a baby! Which puts me into my next paragraph
Baby: For the longest time I was scared to death of the thought. I knew I of course wanted a baby at some point but just always had the “whats the rush” mentality. The one day a few months back something happened. Something in my brain, a switch just kind of flipped over and I realized we are ready. I have an amazing husband who not only do I know will be such an amazing father but who is dying to be one as soon as possible! Im definitely not getting any younger thats for sure (ugh 32 this year, yikes!!) So we decided to start planning. We of course have worries and concerns. Me more than Scott. He is always the positive, carefree, “everything will workout” kind of guy. Me, the worry wart!!! But we can make it work. And I know its what we both want so badly!!! So we are very exciting about that!
Scott’s sisters wedding is coming up real soon! April 27th we will be Bermuda bound! I can’t wait! It will be alot of fun and will be nice to get away.
Thats it for the updates for today! Have to get back to work lol. I will try to be better at regular posting!

So 2010 is going to be a better year I keep telling myself, lets hope so!!
New years eve was fun. We went up to first night in Saratoga with Mike, Pat, Amy, Scott T, and Tricia. It was cold and snowy but fun just the same Nice to see the fireworks.
So far the beginning of the year hasn’t gone as I had planned. Scott and I were really hoping some things were going to be happening for us to kick off the new year and they’ve been pushed back again so the year hasnt started off to peachy. I again am trying to be positive and patient but I feel my patience is kind of running out. Ugh! I just need something to change, something to happen and be happy about these days!!!
Fast forward to this week. It started out pretty bad. Again i tell myself, think positive thoughts Dodi.
Last night was fun. I met Jessie at Friday’s for a glass of wine (i love her!). She has become my new buddy. I just love hanging out with her. We have a great time together and think alike on so many levels. Its so easy to be around her to. Shes so laid back and fun. And she gives me great advice and makes me feel better when im feeling down! After wine, I met Amy for dinner, ripe tomato, Penne Ala Vodka. Gosh that stuff is my weakness. I need to stay away from it. its so so good but so so bad for me!!! I need to turn over a new leaf and eat healthier. I start off being good and watching what i eat and i slowly fall off the wagon. ugh!!!
But I have discovered recently that i just have zero motivation. I am always on edge lately and have serious anxiety issues. I worry about everything constantly, which is just exhausting. So I finally decided to go see my doc next week and talk to her about whats going on. I am constantly tired, all i think about is sleep. When can i get to sleep, how soon can i be in my bed. its ridiculous. I need to snap out of this. I’m just in this huge funk. Nothing is happening right now the way it should be and i just need things to change. I fear that I am all of sudden going to reach a point and just end of having a melt down and I so don’t want to be going through that or putting Scott through that. So to the docs I go lol.
On a happier note. We have a lot of fun things planned for this weekend. Something to look forward to so that’s exciting!!! And I’m already getting excited for events this summer. Janel and Enrico’s wedding in Bermuda in May and lots of camping this summer hopefully. So lots to think about and plan

Christmas Time is here!!!

I cant believe its here already. Where did December go to? I remember being a kid and feeling like Christmas would never ever get here. It seemed so far away all the time. Days seemed to drag and all my friends and I could think about was Christmas Vacation.
We are off on a jet plane to Atlanta tomorrow morning to spend Christmas with Scott’s family. Our flight is at 5:30 am, yikes, kill me now. But it is a direct flight which is nice, no lay over nonsense. We get home Sunday night late and then are doing Christmas with my fam Monday night. I love spending the holidays with family, but I am looking forward to the day when Scott and I will be able to do Christmas morning with our future kids Its a nice thought. Ahhh maybe someday!!!
After the Holidays Im hopefully going to try to do a 2009 recap on here if i remember lol. 2010 may be bringing good things early in the year, but we shall see.

Its been a while since Ive posted. In quick New Moon news. I’ve seen it 3 times already and its AMAZING!!
Moving on , since ive been told my blog is once again turning into nothing but Rob and Twilight. lol.
Thanksgiving has once again come and gone with the blink of an eye. This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family (Christmas will be with Scotts family). We went to Disney world and met up with my sister Wendy who came down from Jax. She is in the Navy and got us a super deal on Disney park hopper tickets. We had a great time. The parks were of course super crowded, not as bad as they’ve been other times we have been there but I still can’t fathom spending 70 minutes in line for a 2 minute ride. lol. But for the most part its worth it. We ate at some great places, checked out all the neat cute little shops and pretty much saw everything we wanted to. Theres so much to see so its hard to get to everything but we got to the major stuff. The weather was chilly. Especially at night, we all wore sweatshirts. But I would rather be a little colder than super hot.
Our flights were flawless which I think in all my traveling history was a first. We always have traveling issues. Us Air loses my luggage every single time i fly. Its become a running joke because how can that happen to a person every time. Its just wrong lol. But we flew Continental this time and it was a good experience for once. No lost luggage, no extra security, we always seem to get picked for the pat downs lol, and no delays what so ever. Im hoping Christmas travel is just as flawless, Thankfully our flights to Atlanta are direct this year
Im so excited for this weekend, Holiday decorating!! I can’t wait to put up our tree and decorate outside!!! Christmas is my favorite time of year. Im really at a loss for gifts this year for everyone , but im sure I will think of something for everyone, hopefully in time!
