By this time tomorrow we will be in the air on our way to the gorgeous island of St. Maarten!
I am of course super excited but nervous as heck! Between the shop being slow right now, and this being Emma’s first big trip and flight, its been a super stressful week!! I think I have us all packed. I guess as my mother always says “if you forget something it’s OK, there’s always a store somewhere
” I definitely feel like I over-packed but better to have more than not enough I guess. I can’t wait for Emma to have her first ocean experience and to see how she is about the sand in her toes heehee.
The resort we are saying at, Simpson Bay, is absolutely gorgeous from the photos. I can’t wait to see it in person! It looks a lot like the waters in Bermuda. I can’t wait to just relax on the beach!
My biggest worry is of course the flight. I am hoping Emma sleeps for the first half of our flight tomorrow morning, since it is at 6 am. She usually sleeps until 10 on weekends! But knowing her, little miss nosy, she won’t want to miss anything lol. We are flying Delta and when I checked a while back, they had said if there is empty seats on the plane (which i highly doubt there will be, I haven’t been on a plane that hasn’t been totally packed since I was a kid) we could switch to a row that has an empty seat so we could put Emma’s car seat in her own seat. I know she would sleep better on the plane if she could be in her car seat. She loves her car seat thankfully!
But I know the chances of us getting an extra seat for her are like 1%. Ugh! Regardless, we will deal with whatever. We are bringing lots of fun things to entertain her. And I think she will just be so happy to be somewhere new and exciting. Lots to see, new people to meet! She is quite the social butterfly
I am sure it will all go smoothly. But since Scott and I don’t have the best track record when it comes to flying, I just am scared that we will fall into issues as usual. We either always have to go through extra security for some reason, we seem to always get picked. Or they make us throw out random weird things in our carry ons, or 9 times out of 10 our luggage gets lost either on the way there or the way home! Knock on wood, we are flying Delta and they have never lost our luggage before, but I can’t help but always be worried about that now since it has happened to us so many times. I just have to keep thinking positive. Once we get there we can relax, unpack and unwind and look out onto the gorgeous ocean waters!!
I love the ocean! I am hoping Emma will to!
So now I just need to make it through this day! A ton to do to get the shop all set for dad while I am gone. And that alone scares me , I hate leaving him here alone, especially when he is not feeling good! I am hoping he will be ok!!! I would rather we be slammed before I go , but I guess it being slow isn’t to bad either, it won’t stress dad out as much if were not crazy busy. But I prefer crazy busy! Its always a comforting feeling leaving for a bit when I know our cash flow is ok. It is also going to be the longest time Emma has been away from her Meema and Poppa! I don’t think they are going to handle it well
I definitely need a vaca though. It will be nice to relax and try to get my mind off things!
So only 5 more hours of work, followed by some quick dinner, buttoning up our packing, Em to bed early and us to, and then waking at 230 am to get ready. I am dreading the 230 am.
But with that will come gorgeous ocean waters to follow!
St.Maartin here we come!

So I have pretty much been neglecting my blog for quite some time now. Oops. Busy times though, sometimes make it hard to be able to just sit down, relax and type type away.
Our little lady is 15 months old already. Where has the time gone?? It still doesn’t seem possible that we already have a 15 month old on our hands. She is amazing, amazing really doesn’t even come close to describing her actually. She is walking all over the place now and boy is she proud of herself! Ha. She seriously is pure entertainment. She makes us laugh everyday! She is so quick to learn new things and is so chatty already. I love hearing her chat away. She repeats everything these days so we definitely have to be careful what we say around her!
Our little smarty pants!!!
Our St. Maartin trip is only two weeks away and I am sooooooooo nervous! This is Emma’s first flight and I am really hoping she handles it well. We plan on bringing a lot of her favorite things to entertain her and something for her to drink or chew on, for take off to help with her ears. Since she is so nosy and has to see everything and say hi to everyone, I am hoping that the fact that its something new for her will be enough to entertain her and keep her happy for the flight. I of course am nervous about our luggage getting lost on the way there since we seem to have bad luck when it comes to that. But I got us a fantastic deal on some new luggage on Overstock since we really only have smaller carry on sizes. It was a 4 piece set, originally 199.99, it was on sale for 79.99, i had a coupon, plus some overstock rewards dollars. I ended up only paying 48.99 for a 4 piece set. 2 large sizes, one carry on size and one toiletry size. Such a great deal and its really nice. So at least we will have a lot of room for all three of us to pack them full haha. It is so exciting to be traveling to some place I have never been before. Scott has been a few times, so he knows the territory. The resort reserved a highchair and crib for the condo for us, so that’s awesome! A few less things to worry about having to pack or figure out. I know Emma is going to LOVE the beach and the ocean. All new experiences for her! I just love watching her try something new.
Hoping also for some really great news for my dad and I, business related, while we are away. Hoping to come back to a new challenge!
We so have this coming, so I am really hoping it works out!
All for now. I will try to be better about updating on a more regular basis
Thanks all! Hope all is well with all of my readers!
Good times!

Wasnt a to bad first day back after Vaca. The day went pretty smooth. The afternoon kind of dragged, and even though I had a few days off , I was happy for the day to be over! After work I stopped to the market to get some fixings for dinner. Becky came over around 6:45, we whipped up some yummy dinner. I made herb breadcrumb crusted chicken with herb long rice and a salad. MMM yummy!!!
After we cleaned up dinner, Becky and I headed to Target. I had to pick up some cleaning supplies for the house and a new kitchen trash can since ours is ancient and busted. Becky wanted to cruise the clearance clothes, one of my fave things to do as well! We cruised around the store, hitting up all the clearance aisles (great deals) and before we knew it, it was almost 10 and the store was closing so we headed out. It was really nice to spend some time with my middle sis. We dont get to see each other to often so I was very happy when she came over for dinner!!! Plus I love to cook for people!
Another raining depressing day! Its like a monsoon out right now. Downpouring so hard that it sounds like its raining in my office. Its weird. I hope I dont have to run any errands today because I forgot my umbrella, grrrrr.
Back from Jax

So were back from the sunny warm weather in Jacksonville Florida. We had such a great time visiting Wendy and Jason. We didn’t want to leave. Her house is so cute and she has everything decorated and the layout is awesome!!! And we got to play with Peanut , Wendy’s adorable dog. I posted photos of our trip in My Album.
It was super nice to get away for a few days and even nicer to get to see Wendy and Jason of course. I wish she lived closer, but after being in the amazing sunny weather there, i can see why she loves it there. Its so gorgeous there. And theres so much to do and see. We went to St. Augustine Sunday, its the cutest little historic town. We went on a boat tour and walked around the town, had some dinner at a restaurant right on the water. I love any place that’s near the ocean. It had a bunch of cute shops and little houses. Of course there was tons of bikes everywhere. That killed me, i cant wait to ride.
So after a nice long weekend, hanging out with my lil sis and brother in law, were now back to reality. Ugh, back to cold cold weather. Spring, please get here soon!!! Ill post more later!
Super Excited!!!!

Yay we leave tonight at 6:50 for Jax to visit Wendy and Jason. I cant waitttttttttt. Im dying to see them!! I havent seen my lil sis since last July
. I miss her like crazy. It sucks that my little sister/bestest friend is so far away. We talk everyday but still I miss her so much. Im hoping they move back up here someday!!!
Im so excited to get away for a few days, out of this cold, and to a place where its sunny and warm! But of course im always nervous about leaving my dad alone at the office. I know he can handle it, but I just always worry about him. Its hard when he has to run back and forth from the office to the body shop all day long. Im hoping tomorrow runs smoothly so he doesnt have to worry about anything. Its so hard to relax on a mini vaca when we have so much going on here at work.
This week has been an ok week, so much better than last week thats for sure. Next weekend will be lots of fun to. We have Scotts firemans banquet saturday and the birch hill tasting sunday. I cant wait to try everything at the caterers. Im so excited!!!!
Taking a Mini Trip!

So I have been dying to see my lil sister for so long now. I haven’t seen her and her hubby since last july!
I always check flights to see if theres ever any killer deals to Jax. I even get the little Ding thingy to alert me when there is low fares, but there hasnt been low ones in a while. Scott and I had talked about going at the end of the month and using our vouchers that Usair gave us for our crappy xmas travel experience. We’ve been looking at flights for weeks now hoping they would go down.
I checked some out last night and it looked like we could end up only paying 70 a person after we use out vouchers. Not to bad. So today I called to book the flights I saw and use our vouchers. And of course it turned out , the itinerary I was looking at last night had miraculously sold out. Grrrr. But the customer service rep said she would check some other flights to see what other options we had. She found us another flight very similar to the one I had found. I was nervous that it would end up costing us more. She worked up the numbers and it ended up that we only had to pay $5.35 per ticket out of pocket!!! How amazing is that. Im so excited about it. So we leave Thursday night February 28th at 7 pm and come home monday march 3rd at 1 pm. I cant WAIT to see them!!! I miss Wenner so much. Shes not only my baby sister but my best friend. We talk just about everyday but its not the same, i need to see her!!! I cant wait to see her new house and have her show us around the Navy base!!! Its going to be nice to get away for a few days to!!! We could use some nice warm weather for a change! Plus we can talk about wedding plans!!!
Im so excited, im counting down the days!!! Yayyyyyy
So much to Post!

Wow where do I start?
We flew to Atlanta for Christmas with Scott’s family Friday night the 21st. We got in around 1 am, went to his parents house and fell asleep as soon as we got there! The trip was a blast. We had things going on pretty much everyday, but it was nice to be able to spend time with his family and I got to meet other members of his family that Ive never met before so that was awesome. Scott’s parents renewed their vows during Sunday Mass. It was so cute. Scott’s dad cried and I totally caught Scott with some tears to. So cute!!!
Everyone is super excited about us being engaged to, and they are all looking forward to hearing about our wedding plans. We got to go to the Georgia Aquarium and the Coca-Cola museum, they were both super neat!!! Christmas day was a blur. we got up a little late, flew through present openings (we got awesome gifts), got dressed and went to Scott’s cousin Steve’s for Christmas dinner. We had to leave early to catch our flight. Which was a whole other nightmare.
Our plane leaving Atlanta was over an hour late, so we ended up missing our connecting flight in Charlotte and had to stay over in a hotel and catch the morning flight to Albany at 9:35. We didn’t get back into Albany until 12:30 on Wednesday. Grrrr, i hate traveling, we have such back luck with it!
The short week back to work wasn’t bad. Went by fast and was a smooth week. Yesterday Scott and I, and a bunch of the Chicriders girls headed to NYC by train to go to the International Motorcycle show!
(from left to right) Daedra, Lissa, Alicia, Heather, and I
Me on my zzr600 model that they had at the show!
(a cool paint scheme)
It was amazing. Tons of bikes as far as the eye can see. I was in heaven. We had such a great time and their was so much to see!!!
The girls also did the officers vote for the Chic riders club, and I am now the VP. Lissa, the pres, and I are so excited for 2008 , we have great events we want to plan!!!
After a long Saturday, we really wanted to sleep in yesterday. After 10 hours of much needed sleep, we headed out to run errands and get things for tonight’s New Years Eve party we are throwing!!! I’m super excited about it!! Its going to be so much fun. I hope everyone has a good time!!!
As for wedding plans, they are coming along. We have a location in mind, and a date penciled in for right now (the countdown on the page is for the tentative date we have set right now). We are going to check it out this weekend. I’m getting pretty excited about planning now. At first I was very much the Anti-bride, but now ideas are flowing and I’m getting pretty stoked about the whole thing and so is Scotty!! I can’t wait to get the date set in stone so we can continue.
Well that’s it for now!!! I know this was a long one. Ill post another after our new years party, and I will post all the photos into my album from Xmas, the bike show and new years most likely tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great holiday!!!
13 hours til we are in Atlanta

Our flight is at 6:55. We are hoping to close the shop at 3. I still have to finish packing, water the plants, and get our flight info ready. But we should have plenty of time. We are going to plan on leaving the house at 5, which would get us to the airport byt 530ish. Should be plenty of time!!! I’d rather us be way early than late.
We dont get in tonight till around midnight and then its an hour drive to Scott’s parents house. Were going to be beat by the time we get there. But at least we get to sleep in tomorrow morn!!!
I hope everyone has an amazing holiday!! Ill post when I get back
xoxoxo
Happy Holidays!!!
How cute is this!!

How cute is my parents shed. They decorated it for Christmas. Its so damn cute!!
One more day until we leave for Atlanta and my parents leave for Jax. I’m hoping today and tomorrow go smoothly so my Dad and I can relax at Christmas time and not have to worry about the shop! We’ve been waiting for two large checks to come in all week. I checked on both of them yesterday, and I think I can pick up one today, and one should be in the mail tomorrow. Once those come in, we can both relax and breathe lol. We have one car leaving today and one leaving tomorrow. So we should be set for customers cars for the week. The other vehicles we have in the shop are larger hits that require more time!
Tomorrow will be a blur I’m sure. We are closing at 3. We usually have lunch with the guys , I buy some subs from the deli and we all just hangout at lunch time and chat and my dad gives the guys their Christmas bonuses. Then I’m sure the guys will clean up the shop, ill clean up the office, and touch base with remaining customers, and we then should be all set to head home. As long as there is no catastrophe’s.
The Atlanta trip will be a blur. We are there for 4 days. And there is alot planned. It sucks to get in so late tomorrow night, but on the plus side, we don’t have to get up wicked early, for a morning flight. So we can get there tomorrow night, and sleep in a bit Saturday morning. I really am going to miss my Family while were gone. I hate that were all separated. Especially since I wont be able to see Wendy, and I miss her terribly! I’m hoping Scott and I can head down in February sometime to see them!!
Well back to work, busy couple of days ahead! Wish me luck!
