And I love little Alice. Bella cracks me up, just chillin behind them hahaha.
So 53 days until the wedding. I guess in that format it looks like we have along time. But its really only seven and a half weeks. YIKESABEE. That makes it sound so so close. And it really is. I just cant believe how close it is. I mean I feel like just yesterday we were in the planning stages. And now soon, it all has to come together. Smoothly I hope. Right now I’m in the decorating stage, picking up things as I see them for the Barn. I cant WAIT to set up the barn, I think that might be my favorite part. I cant wait to see it all decorated and lit up. I cant wait to dance under the lights, to be able to walk through the gardens outside with my new husband. I’m so excited about so many aspects of my day. Then theres the anxiety of it….. I’m absolutely terrified of walking down the aisle, of standing in front of everyone, of messing up my lines, of making a fool of myself. I usually have this anxiety on a daily basis, but this is different. I’m thankful our ceremony is only about ten minutes long but still. I just need to get through that part and I should be fine. Also I’m so worried about looking good in photos. I always seem to make crazy faces. I am always caught off guard.
As for decorations, I picked these up at Michael’s for our centerpieces.
I think they are super cute and will look so nice in the barn. I also like them because there not overpowering. There simple and they will free up space on the tables. I hate when you go to a wedding and theres a HUGE centerpiece that makes it so you cant even see the people at your table. Not only are these cute as hell but there ridiculously inexpensive to create! Score!
Invitations went out Friday. That was a nice feeling to get them done and on their way. According to both of our parents, EVERYONE we invited will be coming but ya never know. The barn fits 150 but I am hoping not to pack everyone in. I would be happy getting 135 in there so we have some breathing room.
Tomorrow night we are going to see Hair of the Dog at the pruyn house. I’m anxious to see how an event goes there. And I love Hair of the Dog! I guess that’s it for today!

I like so many others, went to walmart at 11:50 friday night to get Breaking Dawn. Drive straight home and read 200 pages. I continued to read through out the weekend and all I can says is WOW. It was not at all what I expected. It was of course amazing, but it went places I NEVER thought it would go. If you havent read it already your in for a treat. I wont say anymore, I dont want to spoil it for anyone who hasnt read it yet!!!
Weekend was good, busy. Wendy left this morn, im totally bumming about that. I love having her home, we have so much fun together! I miss her already. I tried my wedding dress on again yesterday. I havent tried it on in months and I wanted to make sure it still fit. Thankfully it does, fits perfectly!!! I love it so much, i cant wait to wear it on my big day!! Which is scarily coming closer and closer. Yikes!
Ali and I decided to try group training at Gold’s. Im super excited about it and I am hoping in the 7 weeks I have before the wedding, it will kick my ass into a little bit better shape!! We shall see.
Not much to post today so far. To much on my mind, I dont want it to sound like babble. will post more later1

I haven’t seen Scott in a few nights. He had drill Wednesday and I went out with my friend Gab on tuesday so last night we took the bikes to dinner at Harbor house last night. Mmmm they have the best fries every! Then rode the bikes around a bit, stopped to see our friends Ken and Bri, and went home to watch a dvred CSI Miami. I never want to go home when we are out on the bikes. I just wanna ride till the wee hours in the morn. But by 10:30, it got a bit cold out last night. Im bummed that its suppose to rain this weekend, grrrrr.
At Ken and Bri’s house, Ken and Scott were playing with some new toys Ken got while Bri and I talked about the wedding. I was describing to her how its going to be decorated, the favors, my dress, the girls dresses, table setting ideas, and our menu and it got me all giddy and excited. I kept looking over at Scott while he and Ken were in the garage and I couldn’t help but smile a huge grin. Im so happy to be marrying him, i totally caught myself giggling a little hahahah. Im a tool. Ive been so preoccupied with work being busy and bike season starting that Ive almost forgotten the most important event coming up this year, Yay were getting married!!!!!! Its only five months away to , which is kind of scary, and I know its going to fly by, Yikesabee!
But last night, we laid in bed, just talking and I couldnt be happier. Its just such a nice feeling knowing im marrying the love of my life in 5 short months!!!

We are still rocking with the wedding plans. We decided on our caterer last week! We chose Birch Hill. Out of the six quotes we have gotten, Birch Hill not only had the most to offer us and the best menu, but they were the least expensive. It blew my mind that some of the other caterers we contacted were offering us half of what birch hill offered us, and for way more money! We are very happy with our decision! I really like Erin, our cordinator there to. Shes super cute and sweet and she was so helpful in putting our menu together!! I know shes going to do a great job!
Im meeting with the florist wednesday to button up the order and thursday Im picking up some samples at the cake shop so we can decide on what cupcakes we would like. My mother and I finished the save the dates last night and they came out amazing!!! Im so happy with them! My mother is a genuis. She made a little templet that we used to cut the slots in the card stock to mount the magnets. The look so great! We used many different colors of card stock and every color looked amazing with the magnet design! Yay! Im going to be sending those out this week!
We ordered out invitations friday night to. The creator is sending me our proof this week so I can approve it. Im so excited to see how it came out!!!
So far we are doing really well. Im the ultimate bargain shopper to which helps with money for the wedding. Were trying to save any which way we can! The wedding seems so far away. I want it to be here now!!! Especially since Im so in love with my dress, im dying to wear it!
Change of subject. Im dying to ride!!! Two more months to go. Ugh if feels like it will never get here. Cyl and I went to Phibbs yesterday to look at the new Ninjas. Seeing my bike there on the floor was killing me. I wanted to just go home, pull it out of the garage and wash it, start it, something. grrr. I think Cyl really likes the 250. And im super excited that she wants a black one. We will match! HeeHee. Afterwards we went to Seymours and she tried on some Jackets and Helmets. Im always excited to get more girls into riding! I guess thats all I have to report. Work is busy which is great, wedding planning is coming along swell, and besides that were just enjoying hanging out with the fam and friends!

The girls picked their dresses yesterday at David’s. They are all amazing. Im so excited, they all look so great in them!!! And I love the color. Everyone was in love with their choices, and thats all i wanted!! Was for them to be happy and comfortable with their dresses!!! Yay , one more thing to check off the list!!

Still on track and going strong. (still super excited about getting my dress!!! I tried it on again at my moms Sunday, I’m in loveeeeee) This week is a crazy week though. I have an appointment tonight with a photographer. She seems super cool so far and its extra cool that she has the same name as my mom (Marylou). Not to many Marylou’s out there. Her prices are great, she has a great website, and she includes a DVD with all photos she takes so we can make our own albums.
Tuesday and Thursday we have catering appointments. I really want to book Nicole’s Catering if they can work with us on our price range. They have a huge menu with tons of options. And they specialize in the station menus that we like. Thursday we meet with Birch Hill. I like there menu a lot to and they seem like they can work with us to. The plus side to Nicole’s though is that they have done a lot of weddings at the Pruyn house before so they know the layout. That is definitely helpful.
Either Wednesday or Friday I’m hoping to see the new movie 27 dresses with my mom, gram and cyl. It looks so funny.
Sunday my mom, gram and I are going to a bridal show in toga. Its a big one to. I’m hoping its alot better than that lamo one Ali and I went to last weekend. lol I think the only thing left to think about is flowers. But I’m pretty sure we are going to go with central market florists. I’m hoping they have a booth at the bridal show!

Last night My mom and Cyl and I went to Brides and More in Mechanicville to check out there dress selection. My mom had heard that they have a large selection and great prices from some girls in her office.
We walked in and it was the usual bridal shop madness going on. Tons of girls running around with dresses on. There was dresses on every wall, in every corner of the shop. It was even kind of hard to walk around , it was so packed with dresses. The first dress I laid eyes on was hanging on a random wall in front of the dressing rooms. I immediately was in love with it when i saw it. I grabbed it off the wall and was carrying it around. It seems weird to say but I could tell just by holding it that it was the one. We picked out two more for good measure and I went into the dressing room and tried the first “one” on! There was no mirror in the dressing room itself, only mirrors outside the rooms. I couldn’t even see myself in the dress but I just knew it was the one already. I felt great in it, it fit perfect, I could totally picture myself in it, wearing it on our wedding day!!!! I stepped out to show my mom and cyl and they both were amazed. I looked into the mirror and that was it. I wanted it. It was THE ONE!!!!
I tried on the other ones just to see what they were like but no good, the first one was it!!!! I tried it on again and didn’t want to take it off!!! I just wanted to run around in it and prance around all night. Now for anyone who knows me really well, you KNOW how much I HATE wearing dresses. So for me not to want to take off this dress, was a huge deal!!! I felt it in every inch of my body. My heart was pounding and I was filled with excitement. If all of that didn’t tell me it was the one, I don’t know what would!!!!
I’m totally thrilled that I found it on the first try. I was so nervous that I would have to hunt through every store in the capital district to find the right one. I didn’t want to just settle on one that looked “ok“. I wanted it to feel 100% right. And this one did!!!
I bought it right then and there. My mother made me give it to her to leave at her house. She knows me to well. She totally knows I would put it on all the time at home and probably wear it out just playing in it. So its definitely a good idea to keep it at her house. Plus I don’t want Scott to see it until our wedding day. Ali kept that tradition and I really like the idea of it to! I am totally on cloud 9 today. Just excited beyond belief. And so relieved that I got this part out of the way because It was the scariest for me. I cant post a photo like I normally would because I don’t want Scott to sneak a peak
One more thing checked off the list!!!! Yayyyyyyyy

So I think my body is trying to tell me something. Ive super sick for almost a month now with a killer cough, sinus infection and constant headaches. That on top of the fact that I dont have much of an appetite has made this past month icky!!! The past few weeks, everytime i eat anything my stomach is already telling me its gonna be upset later. Even when im just eating a yogurt or some cereal, its way bazarre. Its like its telling me “dont eat anything, you have to fit into a wedding dress in 9 months” lol
Last night Scott and I met Cyl and Jen at our fave pub for me and Cyl’s fave of Grilled cheese and their famous waffle fries!!! Even though it was so damn good, I just knew I wasnt going to feel good later. And low and behold, i was up a dozen times in the night with a tummy ache. grrrrr Ive noticed to that Im just not that hungry much anymore. Im not sure if this is just due to my being sick and being on tons of meds, or that im just trying to choose smaller portions. Gotta fit in the dress, thats all i keep telling myself hehehehe. ugh
In wedding news… we booked the DJ. We went with Cool Cat entertainment with Ali’s recommendation. (thanks dude) They were really awesome at Ali’s wedding and we can pick our own music which is nice!!! The guy that did her wedding isnt available that day so we are getting his partner which is cool.
Were meeting with two more caterers and two photographers next week. I just want to get the those two things out of the way so I can relax a bit. The caterer is the biggest part. Ali told me the first few months are the worst, then things start to calm down so thats something to look forward to. She gave me this wedding software “I DO”. Its kind of like quickbooks for weddings. Its amazing and has totally been a life saver for me. (thanks again dude). Next we need to finalize guests lists, which unfortunately is a bit of chore right now. But I think we can work it out. It seems so far away yet not so far. Lots to do!!!
Going to look at more dresses tonight. I totally am just looking for something very plain, but all i ever see is dresses with tons of stuff all over them. Sequins, bows, ribbons, you name it. Hopefully I can find something soon!
Well back to work. Ugh its only 1 pm. Hopefully the afternoon will go by somewhat fast!
